Partnering in Ministry: Immanuel's Uganda Mission
For more than two decades, Immanuel Lutheran Church has partnered with congregations and communities in Southwestern Uganda to share Christ’s love through church planting, education, and community support. What began in 2004 with funding for a single church has grown into a thriving mission that has helped establish 28 churches, two Lutheran schools serving nearly 700 children, and countless outreach opportunities.

Since the first mission trip in 2005, more than 60 volunteers have traveled to Uganda, supporting local ministries through Vacation Bible Schools, leadership development, sustainable agriculture initiatives, and humanitarian aid. In January 2027, Immanuel will once again lead a mission team to Uganda, bringing heirloom seeds through the Seeds of Hope program, providing vision care and reading glasses, and continuing to strengthen partnerships that help communities flourish both physically and spiritually.

Thank you for prayerfully considering a donation to support this important mission. Your generosity helps bring hope, encouragement, and practical assistance to our brothers and sisters in Christ in Uganda. If you have any questions or would like additional information, please contact Pastor Steve Henderson at shenderson@immanuelbrookfield.org.
