Immanuel Lutheran Church and School is a member of the Lutheran Church
Missouri Synod. The School was founded in 1912 in the town of Butler.
It began as a one room school with an enrollment of 23 students. It has
grown to an enrollment of 212 students. There are individual classrooms
beginning with four year old PreK through eighth grade.
The purpose of Immanuel Lutheran School is to glorify God by equipping
children and assisting families through a quality, Christ centered,
integrated education and to prepare them to witness by their words and actions
as they continue to grow in faith and knowledge of God and His creation.
The entire communicant membership of the congregation assists in the
financial support through its weekly voluntary offerings. Member parents
who have children in school are made mindful of the need for their generous
support. All students are charged an educational fee, and parents of
nonmembers are charged tuition. Everyone in PreK pays a tuition fee. All
parents are urged to daily ask for the Lord's blessings on our school.
In addition to studying God's Word the curriculum includes the subject
areas required by the State of Wisconsin. Upon successful completion of
eighth grade our students receive a diploma which makes them eligible for
high school entrance. Other subject areas include:
- Computers - Grades PreK through Eighth grade plus a computer lab and
outlined programs
